St. Vincent's is Safe, says Serena Beeks

Serena Beeks, executive director of the Commission on Schools, Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, whose earlier statements about St. Vincent's School were misquoted has found more information and clarified the situation with the school. She wrote, "I received a follow-up message with some better news: Pere Sadoni and everyone at St. Vincent's school for handicapped children got through the earthquake without serious injury." We thank God that the children are safe and have survived this disaster. This information has been published by the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) on their website, which also provides some information about other Episcopal Schools in Haiti.
